This is a signed, Haxton, Ottman, Fort Edward, NY 3 gallon crock, with ears, in a gorgeous cobalt blue bird on a branch design. There is a hairline on the back of the crock, but the bird is wonderful. Price: $375.

This is a wonderful crock, unsigned, but most likely made by Hamilton-Jones, from Greensboro, Pa around 1870. The cobalt stripes are outstanding, with great detail. Hard to find in this condition...

This is an excellent piece of Western Pa stoneware. The information ON the crock is what makes it so unique. T F Reppert wanted his customers to know he succeeded James Hamilton, and put it on his crock.

The detail on this is wonderful, with freehand and stencil design. Great piece of folkart as well.

This double handled jug from Western Pa is a true find! Great stencilling and freehand. The double handles were there because this would have been very heavy when filled with liquid... And..they survived!!

A.J. BUTLER MANUFACTURER'S, NEW BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY This 2 Gallon jug, signed by the potter, is in excellent condition. The heavy cobalt decoration is crisp and thickly applied and the color of the clay is very desirable. A great piece of American 19th Century Stoneware.

From a private collection, a rare script jug from Hightstown, NJ. The entire name of the merchant is written out, "JAMES M. VANDENBERG" HIGHTSTOWN, NJ. The Vandenbergs were merchants in Hightstown. Few of these merchant jugs have survived or are in private collections!!
